Flava Shack is more of a take out place although you can dine in. I actually have ordered take out each time I've been there. The first time there, I only ordered chicken wings and fries, which, were very good. The second time, I ordered fried catfish and grits; seafood pasta; and mac and cheese. Everything was hot and delicious! I've had some excellent shrimp and grits but that catfish and grits was slamming. And. that seafood pasta with shrimp and crawfish was soooo tasty. I am so impressed. Flava will be a regular place for me and I look forward to trying some of their other dishes!!!!!!
We were visiting from Illinois for Thanksgiving and sought a dinner location the night prior, and we fortunately discovered this establishment. My experience was truly impressive. The shrimp and grits were spectacular, offering an amazing taste. The sauce on the catfish po'boy was delightful, and the fish was fried to perfection. I will certainly be returning.
Amazing food so far we had the seafood paste and lamb chops...They know what they're doing. No half stepping. 2x and will definitely be back again and again
